I think Ruben and Cherise is another song where they have trouble ending it, I listened to one the other day and the ending was a train wreck. It doesn't help when Vince plays that never ending piano lick over and over. Such a great song too and when its hot watch out!

well like i said it could be great, the one from orlando, 4/7/91 in particular, but even that one doesn't end gracefully to say the least.

No one said there wasn't smokin versions of it, just that it is difficult to end. Anyone that has an ear for music can hear that...

I agree about the piano lick on (bad) versions of R + C. Luckily, there's a coupla good versions too, because it is a sweet song...

agreed. I absolutely love the song. I know theres one from 77 (jgb) where Jerry really goes off at the end. It was much more grungy sounding than the deads performances from 91.
